We're not there yet, however...

We’re definitely nowhere close as of now to getting a 30p video of the night sky which can look like each frame was an amateur astronomical photo at minutes' worth of exposure time; but today, as I was thinking, some new technology has emerged and might pave the way for such a feat! Canon has recently, as in today, announced new details of an immense new sensor, which is a step closer to obtaining astrovideography at thirty frames per second, with each frame having the same image quality as a single, approximately 10 minute exposure at lowest ISO setting, such as the ones that you might see from amateur astronomers using huge 16” or larger scopes... at the following link, you can read some about this newly https://www.dpreview.com/news/2543695880/canon-teases-cmos-sensor-nearly-40-times-larger-than-a-35mm-full-frame-sensor
