Polar vortex to split

https://weather.com/forecast/national/news/2019-01-10-the-polar-vortex-has-fallen-apart-and-that-could-unleash-a-much unleashing extremely cold air over the US. Over here, much of the Polar vortex is supposed to miss us. In fact, lots and lots of snow has somehow bypassed my exact area throughout all of this winter!
